My name is Chester Gibs, born in The Netherlands in 1969, and my passion for travel and art has been a lifelong journey. Graduating from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam in 2002, with a focus on Painting and Drawing, has further fueled my love for artistic expression.
Drawing is my true passion, and the process of selecting paper and tools like pencils, ink, or pens is a delightful part of my creative process. Through this platform, you’ll uncover a world of my drawings, where I aim to showcase my deep affection for both art and the intangible, aromatic universe of fragrance.
When I embark on a drawing, scent serves as my muse – I immerse myself in its essence before putting pen to paper. My endeavor is to encapsulate fragrances in the form of shapes and colors, with the ultimate dream of translating the essence of my artwork into a perfume someday.
